It’s time to delouse your grills, put on your shorts and flip flops and enjoy the day out bbqing and toking great Cigars. Along with my favorite smokes, I like to drink a glass of scotch and just relax. After such a long winter, which seemed to be longer than years past, last weekend was perfect BBQ weather. I was able to ultimately open all of my windows and air out the house. I don’t smoke inside, but it required airing out anyway. I tuned up my grass mower because yes, sadly it is that time of year also. The snow is gone and the grass is growing. I don’t mind cutting my grass and keeping the turf up. There is really a great satisfaction to a great looking grass and worth all the effort. This past weekend, I smoked my favorite cigar and BBQ’d up some ribs and pork steaks. I love to think of myself as the master cook, king of the grill. There is nothing like lighting those coals and going to the city on bounteous meats and vegetables. Naturally I’m a charcoal man, I love the flavour of the grill. If you use gas, it doesn’t get the smokey flavour that I love and is way overrated. I invited all of my friends and obviously the spouse and children were there. It’s a bit to cold to swim yet, but once memorial day comes around, I will open the pool for the season. My youngsters love swimming and splashing around, also I am known to take a dip with cigar and scotch in hand. Summer is just such a great time to meet up with buddies and relatives and enjoying life they way you want to.
